MOSS-HUMAN INTERACTION

This project investigates the relationship between moss and humans in terms of healing and survival. The project began by interpreting different roles that moss can play in a human environment. The inspiration for my thesis came from learning how moss was a vital organism during WWI as it was used as bandages when cotton was scarce. Each part of this project explored a different medium; digital imagery, sound, and lastly video.
Sound
During the second part of this project, I experimented with mini soundboards. I learned how I can use short soundbites to further create the narrative of moss-human interaction portrayed through my digital imagery.
